Scenic License Plates

In July of 1995, a special scenic river license plate went on sale at all Deputy Registrar's offices. The plate depicts a great blue heron in flight over an Ohio waterway. Funds are used to support projects that strengthen the preservation and protection of Ohio's remaining high-quality streams, including the Big Darby Creek which flows along Brown Township's western boundary.

You can show that you care about the future of Ohio's Scenic Rivers by purchasing a set of beautiful Scenic River License Plates for your vehicle. Each plate costs only $25 above the normal registration fee, with $15 going directly to Ohio scenic river conservation program. Requests for these plates may be made at any deputy registrar's office or by calling 1-888-752-8373.
